Unwise Eyes

(Prov 3:7) “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”  cp  (Psa 111:10) “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
There is the wisdom of man’s eyes and the wisdom of God’s ways. A major obstacle to the true Christian life is the tremendous abilities God has given to men. We often forget their source and thereby ignore their author’s direction.  Pastor
